Registration Open for Free Monthly Mini Lego Building

Lego stores run a monthly in store building workshop of a small Lego character.  The lego must be built in store, but is completely free.  I went a couple of days with my son and he had a great time.

The dates for September are September 1st and 2nd.

You must register for a time slot to participate.  Registration can be fierce.  Registration started at 9am yesterday and is completely gone for my local store.

Birthday Freebies

I just had my birthday recently and as I was eating from my free ice cream (Carvel and Baskin Robbins) and drinking my free coffee (Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts), I realized that others may benefit from the same.

One site that I follow regularly is Hey It's Free.  It's a great site if you are into freebies and his posts are usually quite humorous.  He has a pretty comprehensive list of freebies.

Free Alcoholic Drink on Southwest Airlines Today

Free Water Bottle from Camel

Dunkin Donuts - Free Beverage with Any Purchase This Week - Targeted?

I happened to be buying a drink from Dunkin Donuts this morning and I noticed an offer my Dunkin Perks for a free beverage for any purchase this week.   I don't know if it is targeted, check your account to see if you have it.

The free drink coupon is printed on your receipt so don't throw that out!  It was also sent to my email, so don't worry about that.

Bank of America Museums on US - This Saturday and Sunday

Bank of America Museums on Us program gives Bank of America card holders free access to select museums on the first Saturday and Sunday of the month.  April 4th and 5th are the dates for this month so that means this Saturday and Sunday are the free days this month.

All national parks are free today in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

Free National and Avis Car Rental Status

There are public links available that will give you high level status at National and Avis.

At National, you will have Executive status until early 2016 and at Avis you will have Avis First status.

Both allow you to upgrade the type of car you get for free and earn free rentals faster, but the programs aren't exactly the same.  Check out the specifics of Avis First here and National Executive here.
