PSA - Don't Send in Packing Peanuts to Amazon!

I recently bought something that came in tons of packing peanuts.  Instead of removing the packing peanuts and repacking, I sent it back in.  That is a apparently a big no-no!

So my account was temporarily suspended.  I went into my shipments, clicked a couple of times and I was ok.  That being said, you don't want this happening to you so be aware.

As reported by many bloggers today, there is a new American Express offers for you available.  Spend $60 at Amazon and earn a $15 statement credit.  That's good for 25% off anything on Amazon.  This offer is on every card in your American Express login.  It will run out of offers so add them to your account even before you know what to buy.

Don't know what to buy?  You can always buy Amazon Gift Cards and add them to your account for future use.  Once they are in your account, they are automatically used for your next purchase so you don't need to keep track.

Have too many Amazon Gift Cards?  Amazon sells gift cards to other retailers as well, including Southwest, Whole Foods, Starbucks and many others.

Discover Deals Confirming Cashback after Review Process

I got an email this morning from Discover thanking me for using Discover Deals.  I started to get used to an email that said that they are reviewing the transaction and I will get another email in 30 days to confirm. 

I had 3 emails and in the third email I saw this:

So Discover has been reviewing the purchases but so far the cashback lines up with what I would expect.  Discover is on the line for a lot of money and I have been expecting them to reject cashback easily.  I have been very careful to always use my Discover card for the transaction.

I am hoping for many more emails like this!

iPad Mini 4s Not on Sale at Staples - Fakeout Sale - New Sale Coming Hopefully

Last week I posed that Staples had an advertisement for an upcoming sale on iPad mini 4's. The price was supposed to drop from $399 to $299.  It looks like instead of the mini 4s, they dropped the price of the mini 3's to $299 which is pretty useless for our purposes.

At least they say that it will be going on sale on November 26th.
