Chase Ink Plus Sign Up Bonus Increased to 60,000 Points - Get In Branch Offer

HT - Chasing the Points, Doctor of Credit

Chase Ink Plus increased its sign up bonus to 60,000 points instead of the regular 50,000 for the same $5,000 in spending in the first 3 months.

The Chase Ink family of cards are great because they offer 5x points at office supply stores, cable, internet, phone bills and some eBay purchases (still not clear why).

The annual fee on the online application is not waived so in essence you are paying $95 for an extra 10,000 points.  Nothing special.

Doctor of Credit reports, however, that the offer is available at Chase Banks for the same 60,000 points, but the annual fee is waived.  Go for that instead.

Check to see if you are available for a referral bonus of 5,000 points for referring someone else.

I just signed up for my brother on the 50,000 point offer so I will send a secure message from within his account requesting to be matched to the current in branch offer.  Chase usually matches you to an existing offer if you applied within the last 90 days.  This worked for another family member last time.
