My Gap.com Purchase

The other day I posted how to save a lot of money on your Gap purchase.  Well, I needed new pants so I thought I would try it out for myself.

I started with a pair of pants that costs $60.  I've never paid $60 for a pair of pants in my life and I wasn't about to start now.

1) Promo Code STAPLES takes $25 off a $50 purchase.  That knocked it down from $60 to $35.

Anyone who knows me, would figure out that I didn't actually buy Slim Fit pants.  I'm more of a relaxed fit kind of a guy.

2) Discounted Gift card.  I used a discount gift card for $25.  It was 12% off from Raise.  Savings of $3.

3) Top Cashback 10% cashback - savings of $3.50

4) $25 of Gapcash which is $25 off a future $50 Gap purchase (I can only use it in September).  Apparently Gapcash can be earned for a $50 purchase even when the coupon code reduces the price below $50.

That $60 purchase ended up costing me $28.50 with $25 of Gapcash.  I guess I'm getting another pair of pants in September.
